How to Submit Your Trailer to a YouTube Trailer Channel

Trailer channels receive many submissions. The ones that get published make it easy to say yes.

What channels look for

• An official trailer for a new or upcoming release
• A clear release date and where people can watch the film
• The right to distribute the trailer, including the music

What to send

• The trailer file or a download link, 1080p or 4K
• Film title, synopsis, cast, release date and platform
• Poster or key art
• Subtitles if you have them

How the release works

We review the trailer, agree on a premiere date and prepare the title, description, tags and subtitles. After it goes live, the channel supports it with Community posts and Shorts.

How long does a review take?

Usually a few days. Send the trailer well before release so there is time to plan the premiere.
